Call to Order:
Chairperson Kerrie Diers called the special meeting of the New Hampshire Planners Association (NHPA) to order at 11:45 p.m.

Presentation by Dr. Robert Roseen, UNH:
As a follow-up to morning tour of the UNH Center for Stormwater Technology Evaluation and Verification, Rob Roseen presented results of the stormwater research.

Minutes of October 15, 2004 Annual Meeting and Special Meeting on May 19, 2005:
The minutes of the October 15, 2004 Annual Meeting and the Special Meeting of May 19, 2005 were unanimously approved.

Treasurer's Report:
Steffen provided a Treasurer's report which was unanimously approved.

Announcement of Election Results:
Hammond Rowan announced the results of the election of the NHPA Executive Committee. The results were as follows:

1-Year Term: Jim Campbell, Kerrie Diers, & Ben Frost

2-Year Term: Christa Koehler, Jamie Steffen, & Angie Vincent

3-Year Term: Jennifer Czysz, Pierce Rigrod, & Becky Way

Executive Committee Report:
Diers gave a brief report on the work of the Executive Committee over the past year. The Committee spent time on revising the Bylaws, which were approved in May, in order to bring new planners onto the committee. Professional development training was also a focus for the year with the NHPA Spring Conference and the workshop before the Annual Meeting.

Awards:
Diers noted that NHPA had not solicited for awards for several years. There is a need to recognize the excellent planning work that is ongoing in the state and to do this, awards will be given this year.

Diers presented the following awards and summarized the achievements of each:

• Professional Consultant of the Year: Jeffrey Taylor, Jeffery Taylor & Associates
• Municipal Planner of the Year: Andre Garron, Town of Londonderry
• Regional Planner of the Year: Stacey Doll, North Country Council
• Citizen Planner of the Year: Nelson Disco, Merrimack Planning Board
• Planning Project of the Year: Preparing a Master Plan for Your Community, Southern NH Planning Commission

General Business:
Vincent reported that NHPA will be hosting the 2006 NNECAPA Conference. It will be held on September 21-22 in Meredith. A Conference Organizing Group is being formed and volunteers are welcome.

In the spring of 2006, there will likely be a one-day Professional Development Workshop. Ideas for the workshop are welcome.

Other Business:
There was no other business to come before the organization.
