Present:
Kerrie Diers, Ben Frost, Jim Campbell, Chrisa Koehler, Nancy Larson, Steve Whitman, June Hammond Rowan

Roll Call:
Chair Diers called the meeting to order.

NHPA Logo:
The Committee met with Stacey from the Local Government Center to discuss the new NHPA logo. Ideas were shared and Stacey agreed to prepare several logos from which to choose. The goal is to have a new logo to present at the annual meeting.

Minutes of Meetings on 8/11/04:
The minutes of August 11, 2004 were reviewed. Frost made a motion to accept the minutes, which was seconded and all were in favor.

Treasurer's Report:
There was no Treasurer's Report to discuss.

Newsletter:
The newsletter was mailed out last week. The Committee agreed that in the future, with the new website, it would be better to have articles and news posted on the website at least quarterly. The job of the Newsletter Editors would be to get articles and information and to oversee having it posted on the website.

Website:
The Committee discussed the draft of the new website. All agreed it looks good and has appropriate information. The Website Planning Group will meet again before the annual meeting to finalize some details. The goal is to present the website to the NHPA members at the annual meeting.

Annual Meeting:
Frost provided a proposed announcement about the annual meeting and training day. The Committee made several suggestions. The speakers will cost approximately $2500 and the food $400. Agenda items for the annual meeting were discussed.

2005 Work Plan:
Discussion on this item was postponed until December. A Strategic Plan Organizing Group (SPOG) with Diers, Frost and Hammond Rowan will try to meet before then.

APA Audio Conference:
The Committee decided to purchase the APA Audio Conference on “Planning, Environment and Land Use Law for Planners”. This will be available in June 2005 and will be kept at OEP.

Other Business:
Two new staff at the NH Office of Energy and Planning were announced.

Next Meeting:
The next meeting will be the annual meeting on October 15, 2004 at NHMA. The next Executive Committee will be on November 10 at 10 a.m.

Adjournment:
The meeting adjourned at 11:30 p.m.
