NHHFA Inclusionary Zoning Implementation Program (IZIP) Grants - Round 2

Inclusionary zoning is an "innovative land use control" enabled for municipal adoption by RSA 674:21 for the purpose of promoting affordable housing. It is one of the tools that municipalities may use to meet the requirements of SB 342, passed this year by the Legislature, which will require all municipalities to provide reasonable and realistic opportunities for the development of workforce housing.

Grants of up to $9,000 (plus technical services) will be provided to NH municipalities to hire pre-qualified consultants to assist in the preparation of inclusionary zoning ordinances. No match is required and grants will be awarded on a competitive basis.
